Green Nudges in Forest and Agricultural Systems: Evidence, Case Studies and Policy Perspectives
First ForestAgriGreenNudge Policy Webinar
Online Webinar, 26th March 2026, 09.45 to 13.15 CET
The ForestAgriGreenNudge Policy Workshop brings together recent scientific evidence and practical insights from a wide range of stakeholders to foster dialogue with European policymakers on promoting sustainable behavioural change in the agricultural and forestry sectors through green nudges.
The workshop focuses on how behavioural approaches can complement existing policy instruments to encourage more sustainable choices by farmers and foresters, while respecting freedom of choice. It explores the potential, limitations, and ethical considerations of green nudges, as well as the policy, research, and governance conditions needed for their effective design and implementation.
Drawing on international examples, the event promotes knowledge exchange and is structured in two main parts: first, an overview of green nudges in action, including evidence and case studies from agriculture and forestry; second, a policy roundtable and collaborative session aimed at identifying current and emerging policy needs and discussing how behavioural approaches can be adapted and scaled across different national and regional contexts.
